BIKEPACKING THE LENGTH OF WALES

Bike-packing light and riding the length of wales over 3 days. Trip was just over 400km long from holyhead to chepstow. Was a really fun experience getting to do a point to point trip like this even though it was pretty short!

We viewers should REALLY appreciate every moment you take to film to have us see the adventure, and what it's really like to do those ever so inspiring rides you partake in... Yes, not easy at all to film/document while riding those type of rides!! I, along with many others enjoy your super cycling channel, I can not believe you don't have a ton more subs my friend!!! Soooo glad I subscribed, such a treat every time I check one of your videos out. You make my 100k rides, which I try to do every 3-days look like baby rides lol!!!! VeloVegan, your vids are absolutely awesome! Amazing stuff especially the Apls. I might knock off a bucket list climb in 2018, Alpe d'Huez and the tour d France when they hit the Alps. Any advice on where to stay (hotels) or particular town etc., would be greatly appreciated. You've inspired me to really do this.

thanks so much man! i think you can't go wrong wherever you stay, briancon, chamonix le bourg d'oisans to name a few! id probably recommend searching up a place airbnb and using strava to find what climbs would be closest to the location etc!

Come take a tour of Maine. It's pronounced Bang-gore, BTW we have that city too. Mid coast Maine in Waldo County is the most challenging riding I've ever experienced. Direct flights to Halifax, ferry to us....😊

Gotta get a Revelate or Apidura bag, they are worth the money because you can pack small or large and they are very sturdy

yeahhh you're probs right there! would probs get the apidura front bag and then only use the altura if i was gonna pack it over half full.. it was much better the second day though, I figured i hadn't put in the plastic things to hold its shape properly as well!

bike bag all the way! either front bag or a big saddle bag is better especially when you're riding a long time, takes a lot of stress off your back/shoulders
