I'm from Indiana usa and will may never get to come ride there but thank you to all the people that declined when they offered you your money bike. And thank you Bike Park Wales for offering it. Maybe I will be able to visit their someday when the madness is over. I watched so much Gavin and Stacey and WILTY during lockdown I've decided I must go to Wales too when I finally get to go to Britain. Sorry Scotland, I will only have a limited time, I'm afraid you've been removed from the itenerary.

I can't even begin to imagine how it felt during the worst part however I love how you'll stuck together and although riders weren't going you were still just as busy making improvements everywhere which you may not have had a chance for ages to make the park even better. The MTB community is a fantastic one and if you were close to going under i'm sure the community would have done as much as it could to keep you going so we didn't lose a MTB hotspot in the UK. Hope things are now getting better since the eases, #TotalMTB

Had my first experience with you today and loved it. This place is amazing and welcomes people from all over the uk a further. The facilities are top notch, if I could make a small recommendation it would be that I’d like a rain shelter at the top of the trail as it absolutely pissed down. 😂.

Looks amazing! One of our favourite places to ride, the A470 was always a banger and looks even better! Does this mean the cheeky little black extension to the A470 line is open too now? Seen loads of shots of the main line but those bigger buggers looked great fun!
@Twigster13 жыл бұрын
Its been a while since I was there but awesome to see the developments and how far it has come. Interesting to know what the approach to A470 is as from what I remember, it isn't that blue-rider friendly through viscous valley' roots and drops beforehand?
@BikeParkWalesOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! The A470 has always been a red grade trail and Vicious Valley, the trail you would need to ride to get to the A470 is also red. Maybe you're thinking of Popty Ping, that is pretty much a blue grade version of the A470. 👍
@gavindiamond90543 жыл бұрын
@@BikeParkWalesOfficial I thought the original Vicious Valley line started through the top of Melted Welly, before the little wooden drop on the start tump. It used to branch off as you hit the trees

The bonkers thing is that they government didn't need to force all our businesses to close. Fit, healthy people under the age of 80 were virtually unaffected by the virus itself throughout the country. I'm glad BPW has survived the hysterical response, which was in *no* way justified.
@paulhead90753 жыл бұрын
£48 for half a days riding at the weekend. I’d say BPW have massively lost touch with the sport they must have once loved. 66k visitors a year and that was the stat for 2014, so more than likely many many more a year now, even at the lowest price band thats £2.7m a year. Not including the food, shop sales and rentals. Please excuse me while my heart doesn’t bleed. Just down the road you have FOD, £7 a day per vehicle and fantastic trails.
@BikeParkWalesOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul, not sure where you got those numbers from but that isn't correct. A weekend morning or afternoon uplift pass is £37 and the sessions aren't half of a standard day. During the summer months we have extended our weekend uplift sessions to include two 4.5 hour sessions.
