I think these cops just enjoy the thrill of the chase, and hope somehow the biker will wipe out and they can cuff him up. My Dad used to be a deputy Sheriff in California, and he was instructed to never get into high speed chases like this because it endangers not only the person speeding away but also the cop who is trying to keep up and everyone around.

Exactly. Where does a bike have the most advantage? Handling? No. Police cruiser can take turns just as fast or faster than a bike with street tires. Top speed? Not really. You won’t have your bike topped out on roads with traffic. You’ll be doing 120-130. MAYBE 140. Most cruisers can achieve 130. ACCELERATION is the biggest advantage with squeezing between traffic as a close 2nd. Whatever makes the 5-0 have to slow way down, and accelerate repeatedly will gain you the most distance. Also chases are more likely to be called off on surface streets. And make plenty of left hand turns. Police will have to slow WAY down or even stop before going left to make sure it’s clear but right-handers they can go as fast as you in many cases. That being said, I’ve never run from the police and never will.

Especially if you made a salaried, full time detective something that requires a good track record in the field, and study of sociology, psychology, criminology and forensics. Would be too competitive for police to play “Buddy Buddy” or turn a blind eye. They’d be ratting each other out for anything less than perfection every chance they got. The first one in Goose Creek (52) has so many cops because he's on the same road as the City Hall / PD Offices. And again in the 3rd video he's on Rivers Ave which is one of our main arteries in North Charleston so he's lucky he got out without hurting anyone Berkeley County and NCPD don't miss too often.

The wobbles happen usually when you cross over the lanes and those white strips are slippery. It's really minimal and the bike catches traction right after .

@@aaronmichaelmusic_ I understand & agree w/you completely about the lines on the roadways, but he started shaking probably from a bump in the rdwy, while turning. Yes the lines cause shakes but i didn't mention that being a cause bc he didn't have that shake bc the lines. Watch the vid(slow it down to .25) & you will see he wasn't on a line as it started, the occurred shortly after crossing & before he crossed back into the #1 lane. Then watch his bike slightly bounce before the shake, meaning it had most likely occurred from a bump, while following a bend in the roadway at speed. Thx man & stay safe if you ride.....it's a jungle out there.

Actually if you go back a second earlier, he passes a bump in the rd which caused a wobble before the big one you stated... prob cause it lost traction and he was leaning/counter steering pretty hard in the first place.
