Hey Daniel, yes you can. I'm also thinking about upgrading my own self-bailers with these new "self-bailer footbraces". Less Water in the Boat, means less weight and the feets are warmer. At the moment they are not available at PackraftEurope, but I would recommend you to call them first. BR Tom

Nice video! Thanks for sharing so much info about the Caribou. I am looking to get one and was wondering how it would handle ww class 1-2. You said it doesn't have much maneuverability when loaded with the bike on the bow, have you tried something similar without the bike? I'm wondering if it would handle better class 2 or even 3 without any load on the bow.

Hey Andre, yes of course and yes, if you have the Caribou as a Selfbailer, you can paddle up to class 3, but then I would also recommend thightstraps and a backband. If you just have a normal open Caribou, then you have to emptie it after every big wave. But please keep in mind, that the Caribou has the light weight tube materia which is thinner and lighter then the normal 210d material. That means be carefull with sharp rocks in heavy whitewater.
