Packraft Tour in the Balkans 2/6 - Cetina - Lower Section (2023) EN Subtitels

We were also pleasantly surprised by the lower and thus last section of the Cetina, shortly before Omiš. With its crystal-clear, shimmering turquoise water in a beautiful and lush landscape, the Cetina meanders through the hilly landscape. For the most part, the first half of the river was very leisurely with WW-I-II until the key section, a challenging cataract directly after the "Studenci" waterfall, which is rated up to WW-IV. Due to the demanding line and the siphons at the end of the cataract, however, we all took the precaution of portaging this section, as the fun-risk ratio was not in keeping with the relaxed tour up to that point. After that, there were a few more powerful rapids that were ideal for practising and playing before the Cetina flowed out very comfortably. On this sunny day at the end of April, the level was 78cm, measured at "Pavica most".

Hey Tom, freut mich, dass es dir gefällt. Du meinst die Schleierfälle an der Ammer. Ja hat schon gewisse Ähnlichkeiten, bei der Cetina waren unzählige solcher kleinen Wasserfälle. Unglaublich schön zum anschauen. Und ja, besorge dir doch mal so ein Packraft, vielleicht kannst du es mit deinen Touren irgendwie kombinieren. LG Tom

Hey Fid, ja unbedingt, da im Balkan gibts schon ein paar sehr schöne Flüsse. Die sind vom Charakter her aber ganz anders als in den Alpen. LG Tom

I have been working as a rafting guide on this river since may. Gutted i missed you guys as it would have been great to see some fellow packrafters come by. I run the class 4 rapid twice a day jn a raft and each time it gets ny heart beating!

Neretva- Bosnien und Herzegovina Zwei teile, der erste leicht klasse I und der zweite die rafting tour bis klasse III. der erste teil 12 km lang und der zweite so 16 km lang.
