Trials bikes were never really my thing, but they led to some very competent road machinery. Indeed, the successes of the Jawa-CZ team in the ISDT's of the late 50's/early '60s were a huge factor in my decision to buy a new Jawa 250 in mid-'63. It was one that I never regretted.

Well they were famous for their heavyweight trials bikes but they also used the unit four stroke in later trials bike s

When I was 16-17 mid 70's Greeves Anglians were cheap yet at my age a lot of my money. Learning trials riding on it. My 1st event at 17, I found out why they were cheap. Totally outclassed & obsolete against Spanish & Japanese bikes. I had to take 2nd (evening) job to finance a 3 year old Bultaco. Finally I'm riding what the others can do. Shortly after I discovered girls like pubs & disco's and boys that go there.
