This brought back some lovely memories for me. I visited Lake Louise back in 1990 and there was hardly anyone there. The beauty of the place has stayed with me ever since. My eyes could not believe the vista and scale of the place. I canoed across it and just sat in the middle of the lake and listened to the silence. Thank you...

Many many years ago friends of mine stayed at the park you were in and in the middle of the night there was a bear alarm so they got out of the tent and went and sat in their car. Then the bear came along and went up to a large steel dumpster just 60 or 70 feet from them and flipped it over with one paw and proceeded to sort garbage , the dumpster was larger than their VW !! MERRY XMAS

They are beasts indeed, and I do encounter some later in the trip, but alas Deb had left by then much to her disappointment

Enjoying this content, thank you for sharing. A friend and me want to ship our bikes to North America, would you mind me asking who you travelled with?

Hi we’re glad you’re enjoying our videos. We looked at James Cargo but decided to go with MotoFreight who were very competitive, sorted everything out for us and provided all the information/documents we needed to take and get signed out in the US for shipping the bike back home. One thing I would advise would be to fly the bike back home rather than shipping as it took nearly 3.5months to get my bike home. Other than that they provided an excellent service and everything that we had to leave on the bike was all there when she came home - you hear horror stories, our friends had everything stolen out of their camper van when they shipped it home. Have you sorted insurance out? We used NAIP - North America Insurance who sorted everything out over the phone as it’s difficult getting insurance that is for you and your own motorcycle.

Looks beautiful, guys. However, as an Aussie, I don't like to see bushfire smoke; as a former Country Fire Authority officer in the Dandenong Ranges (Victoria), arguably one of the most fire-prone areas in the country, I like it even less.

No Unfortunately we see an awful lot of it during the trip
