The Photogenic Climb: Colle dell'Agnello from Casteldelfino (Italy) - Indoor Cycling Training

Colle dell'Agnello is an epic climb and is the third-highest paved mountain pass in Europe. It is located right on the border with France. It is a very photogenic ride, and one feels like stopping all the time to take photos. Many cycling enthusiasts think of this climb as one of the most beautiful in the Alps. No wonder with that amazing view of the pyramid mountain Pic d’Asti. The ride starts in Casteldelfino. This first half of the ride is easy and you pass a beautiful mountain lake and some charming mountain towns. The second half is much more difficult and is by many regarded as a real monster. Nevertheless, the scenery makes up for all the pain. Overall, the ride has very little traffic. Colle dell'Agnello has been climbed several times by the Giro d’Italia, but also by Tour de France. This is a bucket-list ride, that we think all cyclists should do once in their life.

Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute KZbin and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, KZbin, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride... We have left the original sound of the ride out. This is because the noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider's breathing drowns the natural sound of the surroundings.

Very interest and difficult climb (the Last ten km 10% media)i think by e-bike. I made this climb (from Venasca at the beginning of Val Varaita) abt 20 years ago in 2004 July (total 100 km abt). Very good video and weather!
