I cycle on recumbents for the last 7 years. There are a couple of design improvements to be made: 1. The distance from the seat to crankshaft is fixed. Every cyclists has a different lenght. So this is not efficient. 2. The seats are too much upright. The seats should be in a reclining position, for maximizing the leg power.

The seats can be adjusted to enable reaching the pedals. You're right that it could recline more though sitting up next to others is nicely social

it looks like the crankshafts are mounted on one side only.that might turn out as a weak spot when the riders get really enthusiastic (which I would definitly do on such an awesome vehicle!)

All it needs is a body and roof mounted solar panels and streamlined laminar air flow directed from feet to faces so that they wont sweat and get tired...and that translates to better adoption rate.😊...would love to be a part of this project ❤
