Thanks for another great video! When I see you riding in those snowy conditions, I feel like it takes away my excuses. I need to get out there! You’re inspiring me to do some winter biking.😁

i could tell how cold it was 5 seconds into the video by the crunch of the snow underfoot. as a former manitoban, i've heard that sound a million times but as a resident of thailand i can say for a fact i don't miss that sound, although i do miss the province an awful lot. great video. you are a hardcore bikepacker...of that there is zero doubt. thnx!

@@bertski60 yep, you know it’s cold when the snow sounds like that. Wasn’t to bad this time maybe around -15, not as bad as it could be!

Great headlamp Liam.. what kind is it.. I need one for home projects..i'm loosing vision and bright light is necessary.. :). and BRRRRRR that looks cold my friend.. ride safe..

Oh man, I wish I could remember. I believe I got it for no more than $30 from Walmart but that’s all I remember. I’d check out Walmart, and it’d probably be one of the cheaper ones

@@liamrichard LOL.. i looked at the Magicshine headlamp $239... and 4000 lumen is a bit blinding for indoor projects.. I got one on Aliexpress, great light, but battery only last about 15mins.. LOL Thank.. I will check them out.. RideON..

@@rdkuless Wow, I didn’t even know headlamps could get up to that much, they must be pretty good. My nifty little $30 headlamp works great for the price! Cheers

As someone who lives in Florida, born and raised, I basically will not go outside if it is below 40 degrees F. What you do is just unbelievable to me. Keep it up!

Good job Liam. Really enjoy your video's. I bike abit here (Carleton Place, Ont) in the winter but after 1 to 1.5 hours, i start to sweat and then it gets cold. Do you have a technique so this doesnt happen?
@liamrichard11 күн бұрын
@@peternephin6537 Not really, I’ve had that happened lots of times, I don’t really worry to much about it on shorter rides, but on long ones I just able to take off layers if I start to sweat. It helps sometimes but I find it’ll pretty much always happen at some point
