Biking and Hiking to Cafe Bee & Honey | Pyeongtaek, South Korea

In this video, we bike to Cafe Bee & Honey located in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. We bike along the Anseong River for a bit, and then ride through a few rice paddies on the road to get to the cafe.
There is a short hiking trail called Ma'an Mountain (also known as the bee & honey hike) near Cafe Bee & Honey. The trailhead is visible from the cafe and starts at the stairs next to a place where you can blow the dirt off your clothes and shoes when you are finished hiking.
Cafe Bee & Honey have bees and harvest their own honey. The cafe has free honey tastings, so you can find the flavor you like best and purchase a bottle or jar to take home with you! The cafe also offers tasty coffee, tea, fruit drinks, ice cream with honeycomb, waffles, and more.

Will be there late August. I'm bringing my MTB but I don't see a lot of mountain bikers in your videos. Are road bikes more common there?

Road bikes are more common. However, there are mountain bike trails around Korea. I don't know of any specifically around Pyeongtaek, but you could look into the AllTrails app, Bukhansan National Park, and Taeanhaean National Park.

is it possible travel to the bee & honey café by car, or what's a good starting point to bike/hike from. We are living in Camp Humphreys.

Hi! Yes, you can travel to cafe bee and honey by car. There is a small parking lot by the cafe and you can park on the sides of the road also. If you want to bike there, you could park at the public parking near Archive Cafe ( here is the naver pin to the public parking lot naver.me/5EQ6PRUZ ) From the publicparking lot, it is about 11k to the Bee & Honey Cafe. You would be riding on the bike path with the river on your left, then eventually the path ends and at that point I recommend pulling up navigation to the Bee & Honey Cafe in Naver Maps - it will take you straight down a dirt path and then the road to the cafe or it will have you go right through some fields and then the road to the cafe.
