I’m so glad you discovered the Withlacoochee Trail (Rails to Trails). We rode it February 2020 & February 2021. This year we discovered the Good Neighbor trail also. Great ride!!

I’m late getting this response to you... Really enjoyed watching ALL of this one. My wife and I like to bike around the Hogeye Sink, and we look forward to possibly following your lead on this bike trip, too. Love seeing all there is to do here... Thanks for another new and exciting option of “things to do” in and near The Villages. Haven’t done it yet, but we also understand that Mount Dora is a nice place to visit.👍

As usual... a great video... and as usual, we watched every second... not sure what it is that makes your videos so entertaining... maybe the genuine commentary, commentary content or your personalities? We are very proud to have had you as friends since that lunch at Fenney Grill on Pearl Harbor day in 2019... we appreciate that you can't be close friends with everyone. As some had mentioned... this trail is associated with the national Rails to Trails Conservancy. Abandoned rail road tracks usually make great bike paths (due to railroad slope limitations).

Take a look at the Cloud9 seat and the bluetooth Sena1 helmets. Wife and I have both, great for extended seat time comfort and communications while riding on the road. Makes the ride more enjoyable when you can talk to one another

We're planning to retire to Florida from MA sometime soon and the information you provide is priceless! Especially the part about healthcare, and all the things to consider, before settling in. What a beautiful relaxing ride. We love to bike also but need to be able to ride a trail. From Louisville KY. My brother lives in the knobs.....so wish when we retired to FL we should have bought in the villages. We’ve put our house on the market this week. Will go back to stay in our small condo till fall months. Gonna try to rent something in the villages before buying. I am concerned about the available healthcare. Would love to meet you guys when we get there!

So enjoyed watching this. My hubby and I rode that trail many many times. I assume you know or found out that this is a rail trail which means it used to be a train track. Hubby and I know longer ride but I would recommend the Withlacochee Bay Trail. Beautiful views and headed west it ends up at the Gulf. I unfortunately am no longer able to ride but I recognized that trail. Knew you were headed to Hernando. We would typically ride from the north end to Hernando but just on regular bikes. We have so many wonderful rail trails in Florida. Hope you can check them out

Super viewer here - watched while working my remote job. Moving to TV end of April and I have you two to thank. I found your channel and knew this is where my husband and I needed to retire. Just got back from house hunting in TV. I love watching your adventures and I have a running bucket list of adventures in Florida once we get there. Thanks to your channel, I took shuttle from airport to the villages and it was a piece of mind when I was not to rent car at airport (spring break) and no cars were available. You really but some valuable info out and has helped me tremendously.

I live on the trail in Inverness the trail is probably closer to 50 something miles now cuz it goes through the blue run and ends up at Swampy's on Dunnellon Road right by the bridge where everybody exits the river on their tubes. Latrell goes underneath the new tunnel they built underneath hwy.41.

I love it. The Villages is one of the places my wife and I are considering moving to when I retire but we don't golf, we ride bikes instead. I do mostly mountain biking and I so Santos in Ocala is only about an hour north of The Villages but that's too technical for my wife so we were wondering about flatter bike trails nearby where we both can ride together.

The closer I got to retirement, the worse listening to the voices above (Dispatch) telling us where to go and what to do was getting old and I didn't want to go hahaha I miss the people but for sure not the place. 28 years was enough for me and if you add on my PD time, I was in public service 31 1/2 years. I would love to visit the villages. My father in law's brother owns a place in there but we have not been down to see it. Stay safe and Happy early retirement Brother....

Thanks for your bike trail videos & for all of the facts & other things that you talk about during your videos. We will be moving to Orlando after retiring next summer & will be looking for a place close to Disney where we would not have to cross I-4 to get there. I wish we could move to Golden Oak, but we don't have the $ for that. We are thinking about Celebration, Dr. Phillips, Winter Park, Clermont or Kissimmee. I look forward after moving there to riding on all of the awesome bike trails like the West Orange & the Courtney Campbell Causeway. If you have any ideas on where I should look for a place or people I should contact then please don't hesitate to let me know. I can't wait to get out of the hell of IL. because the government sucks, the taxes are too high, the weather is not good & it is very boring. Florida is the opposite of all of those things.

When you said its about 48 miles is that each way our round trip? How safe (cyclesble) is the 24 miles to the start? Looks a perfect route to get some triathlon training in on a glorious route (that’s flat!)

Ok, so …I’m confused….to my knowledge your not allowed to ride electric bikes on this trail or any state park bike trail. Did that rule change? …or am I wrong?
