"Pool School"- Beginning with the first day we arrived in TV we floated around the pool daily and struck up conversations with everyone else. We made it known we were new, and people were eager to share their knowledge, tips and tricks, and make recommendations about a wide range of subjects. Someone told us this was called "Pool School"- and it was a valuable resource to help us get settled.

Please do research on the fire assessment. The information you gave is only a portion of the taxes collected in the past and in the future for the Fire/Rescue department. The rest of the funding came from the general funds. The fixed amount was only a way to make sure Every property paid something for fire services. With exemptions, there are many properties where the tax value is ZERO. Please let everyone know the whole picture and what it means to them.

Completely opposite us as you know Juneau was our first stop Did you all do the Saxman tour when you were in Ketchikan? You both would have enjoyed that being woodworkers That was awesome.. I’m currently nursing a cold not sure where I picked that up probably the rainforest.. glad you were finally able to upload.. We are back to Vancouver then home in the tenth it’s about the same size as the zaandam

Loved this video. Perfect timing. My daughter and I went on a pontoon boat 2 hr. tour on Lake Dora and thru the Dora Canal today. We saw the cat boats and she asked me what they were. Your video showed her. 🥰

One thing about the Postal Boxes. All mail is addressed to your actual home address and NOT the box number. You DO NOT get the location-anonymity you get with a U.S. Post Office box. If you want anonymity you need to rent a box from a private "mail service" or a U.S. Post Office. There are no U.S. Post Offices in the Villages.

We swam in so many of the pools . We find it’s a great way to meet the people in each village . We strike up conversations and you wouldn’t believe some of the incredible people we meet.

Coming for our lifestyle visit Aug 8-15 (intentionally picked the 🥵 month to see if we can survive without melting). Loved the cat boat tour and might have to give it a try, time permitting. We might not want to leave the bubble.

What about doctors and health insurance. I am currently retired and live in California and have Kaiser which doesn't exist in Florida, but really want to relocate by next year. Can you tell me what medical Insurance is accepted there and how far are the doctors?

The best part I liked about the medallion was we could find our group members on the ship. So instead of running around looking for them I could check and see if in their cabin or shopping or eating a piece of chocolate cake at the International Cafe 🥰
