Thanks a bunch, I'm glad you enjoyed it! This channel is super new so I think it'll grow, it just takes time.

@ExpatsInTheMaking I hope too. Good luck with it.

Every time you go to Zemun, you can take a different way up Gardosh to the Millenium Tower, including the secluded steep stairs from Radetzky club upwards. There is a good pizzeria (Bosilyak), a good bakery (Petrovich), good coffee shops and kafanas in Bezhaniyska street to be checked out.
@ExpatsInTheMaking2 ай бұрын
Awesome recommendations, thanks, I'll check them out soon! And I usually come down those stairs because I can never find them from below. 🤷 I'll try from Radetzky club next time!

Yes dude, definitely! We've talked about making it over to Mehanika again a few times but haven't pulled the cord. Is there a day y'all usually meet up?
@stbosnic2 ай бұрын
@ExpatsInTheMaking no specific day. We just show up randomly. :)

Little correction,,, Belgrade's 'Western Gate' is in New Belgrade and the other one is 'Eastern Gate'. Great videos anyway! The best,

Thank you! I realized later I need that up but I'll make a corrections video sometime soon and I do need people's help finding them all! 🤦♂️🙏

You seem to be hitting some very cool places in Belgrade! I thought you would proceed to Ada Tziganliya, which is in its own way one of the best places there. Huge, different, green, with numerous sports facilities. And the Lake about 7 km to walk or cycle around it.
@ExpatsInTheMaking2 ай бұрын
I live pretty close to Ada Ciganlija so I'm there pretty often! Just hasn't made it into a video yet... Definitely great spot, thanks again for the recommendations! Keep them coming if you've got more!

@@ExpatsInTheMaking If you happen not to know it, Ada is not just the cycle or walkalong paths around the Lake, you can go to the Bridge (downstream, towards the City), the other bank, or along the Sava upstream to Kralyichin Vagon.

Koshutnyak is great for cycling and even mount-biking. There are lots of opportunities to explore. Have you been there?

@@ExpatsInTheMaking opposite of what you said. Three buildings that form a pyramid silhouette are known as Rudo or Eastern gate. Genex towers or the Western gate has two towers joined at the top with a circular space that used to be a restaurant. Both of these are erected alongside highway that run through the Belgrade.

That makes total sense, thanks!

gotta be dangerous to bike in belgrade. maybe only safe place is the walkway along the river where there are no cars.
@ExpatsInTheMaking2 ай бұрын
You'd be surprised. When you get away from the good bike paths in parks and along the water there are still decent bike lanes and I haven't had trouble with cars but there isn't a culture of respecting bikes so the pedestrians are a problem. Definitely better in parks and on the river but imo Seattle is worse.
