It's all part of the zillion dollar social justice grift. People who go through life believing themselves to be a nail to all the world being a hammer have monetized this shit to a strange degree of success, really. Just ride your bike, man. The activity is as simple as that.

When I saw the title of this, I had to watch because cycling is already a sporting skill, but from what I see on You Tube, riding a bike while black is an Extreme xxx Sport in USA. I am fortunate to be in Africa.

honestly wow this video spoke directly to how people feel. As a black person knowing the level of racism that is out there it is hard to put your life at risk on a bicycle. you feel much safer in the metal cage of a car when you know any racist might swerve and do your harm and there is no just, fair and impartial legal system to depend on. they will likely never face consequences for it, instead you the victim will be blamed even though you cycled following all of the rules and took every precaution. in the end of the day it is a black man's word against the white man's word. it's quite sad but every day more and more anecdotal evidence comes in and every day the demonic double standards of the system are revealed naked in all it's ugliness for the whole world to see.

I totally identify. Over the years have learned how to travel down streets where I'm not likely to get harassed by the police. It's happened so much to me I have become desensitized. I have adapted to this normal thing that happens to Black bicyclist.

That is very unfortunate and no one should ever have to go through that. Black cyclists deserve and should have just as much respect as white cyclists do.

Thanks for the info. I just bought an expensive ebike. It hasn't happened yet but I'm certain I'll go thru some unwanted attention by certain people. I'm only trying to lose weight in order to maintain my health. God bless us all.

I brought my nephew the $500. mountain bike for Christmas. The first week riding his bicycle....I got a call from the police 🤔 & he was being accused of riding a stolen bicycle...in fact they said he stole it. He was about 13 and had just lost his mother that past November.

Beautifully said. We're never truly going to be safe in this country but don't let that be the reason why you don't cycle. It's so much fun even if they try to discourage you from doing it. Start cycling today.

The only way this ends for our people is if we pick up and leave the USA for good headed to Africa as if these people haven't changed in all these years we must face the facts that they aren't ever going to change as just too many of them simple do not want too. So, if we are to have a better life away from all this ill treatment we must leave the land of our captivity.

why should black people leave? the United States know more belongs to white people than it does black people. perhaps it belongs even more to black people as they came here in peace considering that they were brought here against their will and did not brutalize and kill the natives of this land. the facts of the matter is the United States belongs to black people as much as anyone else if not more so. they built the United States and the United States is indebted to them. we cannot live in the negative historical mindset of the past however, Injustice cannot be accepted to keep on going forward. only so many apologies can be accepted for so long.

why, why must a black person justify their existence. no instead the complaints of citizens should be taken seriously and if police officers have so many justified complaints against them they should be fired. let us work towards that sort of policy and statute law change instead of living with a security blanket wherever you go. instead of living in terror of what little mistake you might have made that they will feel justified to squash you like a bug using the book. while by contrast they buy burgers and fries for white mass murderers. the police should be held to account. the police should be defunded and the money should be reallocated to prevention, to early childhood education, to government backed loans for business startups especially in disaffected communities, furthermore the police should all be forced to wear live streaming body cams that stream the live video to a civilian oversight body. they should be immediately fired for tampering with said devices or for not activating those devices more than a set number of times.

try exercising your "right to travel" but before you do. You must research what the. words driver, operate, vehicle, passenger, transport, and traffic mean. You have been extorted, by the police, your whole life. Verbal judo is 100% real, never acquiesce to unwanted services the police corporations offer.
