He has got to be one of the most surprising contestants in strictly history, i have never seen anyone defy the expectations of people so much before. His shaping and Spanish line was *chefs kisses*. There was drama, build up, levels to the dance, packed choreography what more could we want. So far the best paso of the series - Bill could honestly become one of the front runners of the series. Could Oti be the first pro to win back to back (lets be real she definitely deserves it) - time will tell. 9/10

@@Harrison_J_T Oti doesn't let her partner's be lazy. The "comedy" one is a Strictly trope that can die a quick death. She demands them to go as far as they can within their physical ability. Danny and Kevin are just her best examples.

Well hes worked for the BBC and channel 4 for year I'd imagine the producers knew him and knew he would tair it up the guy plays like every instrument and learns new ones in days imagine learning dance moves isn't that hard when you've got a natural rhythm

Going off the fact hes so musically talented, I just knew he was going to be good when he was announced to appear on the show and he has not let me down! I think music can get you far when it comes to dancing. Do his arms look odd? Yes. Is he ever going to look like a professional? Probably not. But my GOD hes good.

Yes!! This. I was so excited when I saw his name. So many people assumed he'd just be a comedy act, but he's proving he can dance too. Even if it's not technically perfect it will always be musical and on time, and we already knew he could perform.

And here I was thinking I was the only doing the laughing and crying bit throughout his performances!!! What sets Bill apart, I think, is he just doesn't want to be told/shown steps, moves, and so on. He wants to know what the dance (such as the Paso tonight) is supposed to represent, what it is supposed to tell an audience. So he's learning dance moves but he'a also learning the theory. He will just get better and better because that's the kind of person he is -- all we have to do is look at his musical ability. Is there any instrument he cannot play? I know I'm the happiest SCD fan on the planet just having him there each week and I hope this goes on until the final when he and Oti will hoist the trophy.

I like it when the what was intended to be the joke act of the season starts to show potential and improves week on week. Anyone who starts out shaky but comes good in the end would get my vote over anyone who came out killing it from week one. Clearly a great partnering too.

Wow that was a surprise! Very good Spanish lines, good attack, wonderful musicallity, very good footwork especially at the Paso walk. He didn't miss a step, really enjoyed the violin part too. Oti really is such a good choreographer. Shaping does need some work but everything a Paso needs! Drama, passion, timing, storytelling. The music really did suit the Paso unlike Jason's. Bill's best dance yet. Contender for the Final and his personality is even better. *8/10*

YASSS Bill!! What a great Paso! He's actually so good, got natural rhythm and really studying the technique as well as nailing the character. Can imagine how even better he would look if his shoulders weren't so hunched and tight from a life of bad posture but Oti's definitely sorting it out! Loved the dramatic music and Oti's choreography, would actually really love to see two pros doing this, it would be so dynamic!

I'd been expecting the routine to use Clint Eastwood's famous poncho as a cape, and then when they didn't, I thought Oti would use her skirt as one, but in the end they did neither. Just shows you don't need to, and yet still hit all the paso images. Great routine and use of music.
