It's a tribute to the quality of this homage that Billy Bragg himself joined in with Uncle Bill while he played in public. A truly wonderful moment.

A tribute to the quality of this homage of the merits of this pastiche of the parody which he's imitating

Haha, he immitates him so well. Seems like more of an homage rather than a pisstake -- love it!

Recently saw Bill and Billy doing this together. Someone grabbed it on their mobile and uploaded it. Great piece of work.

I know he’s a fan. BB was interviewed by a radio station here in Australia and mentioned HMHB as one of his favorite bands. They then played ‘Thems the vagaries’ and I’ve been a fan ever since. Nigel Blackwell is a thoroughly underrated songwriter.

+Gabriel Croaker I just bought the CD (ultimate collection ... ever). Is it the full version on that?
@PoisonousPen5 жыл бұрын
Never heard that version before! :D Mind you, this is a really early recording of Bewilderness from about 2000 that was only released on DVD because of the success of Part Troll, so maybe he added those lyrics at a later date.
