No one in this company has medical training. Who are they to decide what medical care I need? My doctor decides my medical care, period. These people need to stop getting in the way by going away completely.

ANDREW WITTY, chief executive officer of UnitedHealth Group (parent company of UnitedHealth) ..in an op-ed titled “The health care system is flawed. Let’s fix it,” published in the New York Times on Friday (Dec. 13), Andrew Witty, chief executive officer of UnitedHealth Group, wrote that he “understands people’s frustrations.” ..guess he's sayin' this in a bid to save his ass.. goes on to say, “Together with employers, governments and others who pay for care, we need to improve how we explain what insurance covers and how decisions are made,” he wrote. “Behind each decision lies a comprehensive and continually updated body of clinical evidence focused on achieving the best health outcomes and ensuring patient safety.”..buddy still hasn't got the memo - ain't about better explaining what (or why) health insurance companies (don't) cover, it's about getting rid health insurance companies altogether & having Universal Healthcare..

The problem is larger than the GREED of the Health Insurance. ALL aspects related to the Health Industry are a problem of price gouging: ambulance and other emergency transportation, any medical supplies and equipment used. Everything about Health care is predatory. It doesn't matter if the financial health groups payout. When the fees are predatory it creates a reason for WE ALL will pay to much. In fact some companies want no direct employees so they can AVOID the crazy high cost of paying for adequate HEALTH. A result the job market shrinks and the employer will just OFFLOAD the work to be done in another country. Its a much broader PROBLEM than what conversation I've been hearing.

Exactly, which is why we need single payer.

The wild thing is the American healthcare system is working just as designed. That's the problem. The good news is America is the only one who uses this filled system. We have a lot of working models to choose from. We just have to pick one.

Bingo. But you should also have affordable health care which means free market competition must exist. Instead you got obama care and miles of red tape.

Yes. You cant play by their rules. Food, social media should be Consumed with conscious, choose wisely. Save money instead of consumerism through marketplaces. Connect with people in reality, find connections.

When they make a movie about this entire situation they should definitely get Patrick Stewart to play as Andrew Witty. Also Andrew needs to stfu and resign, for his own safety. There's nothing he can say to fix this situation.

"Brian's great legacy"? Brian was under federal investigations. And not for nothing. What do we really know about this case? The CEO under two federal investigations would be under surveillance. Brian was in town for a shareholder meeting in NY that was scheduled two days after Luigi supposedly arrived at a hostel in NY. Brian stepped out hours early for his shareholder meeting and yet the shooter who is unidentifiable in photos (with arguably a different brow line than Luigi's distinctive look) was precisely on time for his target. Monopoly money and go straight to jail? Luigi seemed to be leaving a popcorn trail and waiting to go to jail where a lawyer was already waiting to step in. It's not even possible to do the ballistics on a gun that NY did not even have. Certainly not in less than 2 hours after an arrest on a ghost gun. Same goes for the partial fingerprints (and stuff from the hostel) which had given LE leads that had them tracking some other suspect. Luigi who was identified by Sf Field office passed it to the NY Field office who then worked it up and passed it along to NY police who tossed it into the pile since they already had a suspect they were tracking. Until they were redirected Luigi who appeared to not be running or hiding and was identified under a mask and beanie and he was taken into custody with an entire case evidence package ready to go. At the time he had no need to essentially turn himself in with a fake id? And he claims the money they recovered in the backpack was not his. The NY shooter did not pear to have luggage on him for all these changes of coats and backpacks and is said to have not gone back to the Hostel after the event. When Alec Baldwin stood and deceased his Director it took months to get ballistics back which to this day were foiled and fumbled and the gun report took 6 months. Which proved Alec Baldwin was lying. Was it negligence, recklessness, arrogance, idiocy or some other criminal reason? No matter since they let the person who was there at the scene, who they know for sure pulled the trigger just leave and ride off into the sunset. Yet within less than 2 hours LE claims to have wrapped up all the evidence for this case like it's iron clad when it looks like Swiss cheese. Media reports take everything being told to them as some kind of gospel. LE said Luigi took a bus and that he was at the McDonald's where a bus (not visible anywhere at the scene) supposedly made a stop? Then LE said he didn't take a bus? Yet they said he was photographed in a cab going to the bus station where he never came out? Guess he took the Pennsylvania railroad. This is some kind of game. Luigi is found with a manifesto that explicitly says he was working alone. How often does that happen?
