I think what Daz was alluding to is the fact that Hooter's waitresses are actually classified as models who also serve, so it's not illegal to discriminate against them based on their looks in their employment contract. You can get fired for getting out of shape or not looking nice. But I mean, you took the job at Hooters for a damn reason, you can be a waitress anywhere else. You are using your body for your benefit, and there's nothing wrong with that. But don't complain that you're being judged on it.
@kingjamestres2 жыл бұрын
lol what was that last rant about no one was complaining about it
@djjazzyjeff12322 жыл бұрын
I never knew that. Obviously that HAS to be part of it. It makes sense. I didn't know there were clauses about that for modelling either, I just assumed it was like a thing where you just never say the quiet part out loud (shes too fat or too ugly) so they got away with it that way. Like it's illegal to hire racially, but if you just said to every black person who applied and said "I'm sorry you're not what we're looking for" and just never elaborated, I think you'd get away with that too, wouldn't you? Idk I'm just thinking out loud here.

I've seen Bill Burr 3 times here in the U.S. Watching him live is still better if you can believe it. He rips into whatever city he performs at and will leave you gasping for air from laughing so hard. UPDATE: I just saw his latest stand up in West Palm Beach Florida. This would be my fourth time and admittedly I did not find it as funny as it was arena seating, it was still very funny though but It's much better when it's a small club. Understandably he's a much more popular comedian now and his venues need to get bigger.

Bro 100% Standup in person is just so much better. Even if he said the same jokes as in a special, something about being in the crowd, around other people, the comic being right there in front of you, you just laugh harder. I've only been to a few live standup shows and only one semi-big name comic (John Caparulo), and he told a joke that made me laugh so fucking hard I thought I was going to die from oxygen deprivation from laughing so hard. He did a bit about travel and planes and how they always seem to make you wait ON the plane when they're fixing shit instead of in the airport. And he's like, "Yeah so I'm sitting here at it's been like an hour, and I'm sick of doin nothing so I get out my phone, start fuckin around on it, using cellular data, and the flight attendant sees me, and I know she knows I'm using data, and she comes over and is like 'Sir, your phone is supposed to be in airplane mode' and I was like, 'Well you know what ELSE is supposed to in airplane mode? The FUCKING AIRPLANE! And I know it's not because I'm still sitting on the fucking ground." I about legitimately pissed myself laughing at that in the live setting.
