This was one of the most entertaining Bill Burr interviews I've ever seen. I've watched so many. I think it was because of Rick's ability to produce a fast response. They're so sharp, an unlikely duo but I have to say after watching it no one pandered to the other or went easy. I think that's what made it so enjoyable, two very fast quick draws riffing. No need for criticism, it was too enjoyable. Bill doesn't always find those characters.

Meh, they're not really KZbin rules. They're advertiser rules. They allow creators to get paid an it incentivizes them. KZbin is a business, they don't have a moral agenda. It boils down to brands not wanting to be associated with certain topics because people, in general, are too sensitive.

@@JunkBondTrader that's not the case here. Nor how monetized KZbin works at all. The legion of skanks have had the same sponsors as other podcasts. That alone challenges your theory. But if you know how billion dollar corporations work, you'd know that KZbin is who's censoring and banning.

It was good! The "Boy, are my arms tired." completely landed. I , honestly, laughed out loud.

If I'm remembering correctly, he told the old "boy, are my arms tired" joke and no one laughed. He makes a little self deprecating joke after bc it fell flat and got only a few laughs. I thought, on the other hand, thought it was hysterical. I love a good dad joke.@@danielmaryles4874

It's an old "dad joke." His arms are tired from flapping his them like a bird. It insinuates that that is how he flew rather than on a plane.

Soft boiled egg recipe (was a chef for 12 years) Bring water to a rolling boil (high heat) with enough water in the pot that it does not stop boiling when eggs are placed in the water. Boil for exactly 7 minutes. Remove from boiling water and immediately submerge into ice water. Peel and eat. Recipe is for large sized American eggs. You can add or subtract 30 seconds for desired yolk doneness. Use less fresh eggs for easy to peel eggs. Love you!

@@mikael7071 true. 7 minutes is like a runny yolk. 8 minutes is like a fudge yolk.

I see recipes like yours repeated on masterchef and cooking classes etc. It sounds so foolproof... but it always features the ice bath. I know in the US and AUS most refridgerators have ice makers, but here in the EU they don't. Nor do I own a dedicated freezer. What timing would you recommend if someone only had refridgerated water for the final bath? Would that still be cold enough to stop the cook quickly? Thanks chef

@@mehashi cold water is good! Just important to draw all of the heat out of the egg. Eggs cook at 141f and 145f. As long as they get 10-15 minutes in cold water, it will get the heat out of the egg. You can always throw an ice pack into a bowl of water and it will do the same. I use ice packs when ice bathing at home as I don't have an Ice machine in my house.

man, I don't know why, I just haven't watched TYSO in a while.. now I see this and can't understand how I could have gone so long without it. I feel a deep appreciation and connection to... well basically everything happening here.. That might not be the best explanation for what I wanted to get at, but that's all I got at midnight, just moments before the baby will probably wake up and expect me to feed him ;-)
