+supastar Burr is my probably my favorite comedian right now...but "joey bag of donuts" was totally a quote on mike birbiglias first stand up special, Granted its just a minuscule part of an off the top of the dome rant, it was probably subconscious and i am not in any way saying bill stole it...just thought that was interesting
@opantfan17 жыл бұрын
"joey bag o' donuts" is a common phrase. Birbiglia did not coin it.
@ohdannyboy68017 жыл бұрын
Joey bag o donuts is a very common New England saying that basically means "fat person." Although nowadays I hear people use it for just a generic name as Bill used it here.
@MrMartena569 жыл бұрын
that is a drive killer, MIKE!!!! Oh ahhh absolutely, absolutely, ABSOLUTELY AGREE! What he's doing there is he's padding the ball and telegraphing his passes, this is the type of stuff they were working on in the offseason and showed promise of in the preseason but I gotta tell you today I don't know where that was and, ah now, ah you gotta wonder ISITTIMETOHITTHEPANICBUTTONINTAMPA!??!?!!

The addition of Fan Duel and Draft Kings into the mix has made the glorification of the horribly mundane stats permanent. I don't remember back in the 70's, in November, the color announcers mentioning how Jack Lambert did in summer training camp, or if Roger Staubach can still go deep.

I agree. I used to watch all the pre-game stuff, I would listen to sports radio. I can't stand listening to all these people trying to analyze a sport they never played. I know some of them are former football players, and sometimes their opinions are even worse.
@Oldcartoons5717 жыл бұрын
You don't need to play a sport to analyse it. Most of these players seem to be worse at analyzing than the guys who never played. The thing that bothers me is that most of the analysis isn't really looking at what's on the field very well. It's a lot of simplistic nonsense.
@jleffel69697 жыл бұрын
True. But I find some of them truly insufferable.

@aintgonnahappen9 жыл бұрын
mightguyfan Comedians love to stand behind the word "joke" with their clown noses on to give them license to be stupid, but when people like what they are saying all of the sudden they claim it to be truth and they want the adoration that comes with it. They are hypocrites and the people that cover for them are sheep. When people say goodbye to you do they just say "goodBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" :)
