They both like to interrupt too.. except when Bill does it, it’s actually funny and doesn’t derail the conversation.. Bert just has to make everything about himself. Look, I get that it's a good joke. But at least give the guy credit for his career. While I'll never understand it, Bert's TV career, deal with Will Smith, all that was his doing. He leveraged a friendship into air time and grew his footprint. He does stadium tours. Whatever you think of him, however much I dislike him, his dad didn't "buy" that. He's a selfish loser, but comedy drama podcasts running out of Schaub content doesn't mean they can rewrite history. Whether it's Rogan, Kreischer, or even Schaub, you have to give them their due. I dunno, the "losing family time" is a big stretch. He's not swinging a hammer to put ramen noodles on the table or defending a nation. He's super rich and famous, he does what he wants. As Vincent Vega said - I aint ****ing stopping you!
@TheComedyHistorian8 ай бұрын
I understand what you mean, but him leaving family time to do the pod probably pissed him off. I would’ve just rescheduled if I were him, but idk why he didn’t think to do that.
@clicheguevara52828 ай бұрын
Whether he’s swinging a hammer or flying first class to Dubai, he’s still away from his family. Separation is separation. Being rich is irrelevant. Also, the _reason_ he’s rich and famous is because he grinded his butt off on the road for decades until he found success. …and when he found success, he continued working hard to maintain the success. Bill is away from his family A LOT because he tours. He was probably really looking forward to that quality time with his family. If you got called away from your family in the middle of a big family gathering, what would you be upset about? It’s a safe bet that 98% of people would be upset about having to leave the family on a holiday get together. The real stretch is the guy saying that Bill was just mad because he wanted to continue grilling. 😂
@kyleegloff56468 ай бұрын
If your swinging a hammer to put ramen noodles on the table then your an alcoholic
@jamesdavis38518 ай бұрын
@@clicheguevara5282 Definitely wasn't attacking Bill Burr's work ethic. But being rich isn't irrelevant. It makes a difference, you can't take time off if you're struggling. If you're comfortable, you make choices. To answer your question, I wouldn't leave a big family gathering. I'm grateful to have the luxury of not replying to that call. So does Bill. But being pissed off is his shtick, we all love it.
