It was like a 4 or 5 hour show and a lot of the crowd was drunk and booed every single comedian. One of them was supposed to do 45 minutes and only did 15 because they just wouldn’t stop booing so Bill was already pissed before he got on stage and he was trying to do his routine and once they started booing him he snapped.

they didn’t boo everyone.. patrice o’neil killed bob sagat killed tracey morgan dropped the mic and left mid set before they could boo. that venue is outside and is awful in the summer sometimes especially when you’re drinking

for context , this was a comedy tour that Opie and Anthony radio show used to do , they had like 10 or more comedians doing stand up for like 10k ppl in Philly , before Bill burr got on the stage there was a comedian called Dom Irrera that the Philly fans just didn`t like and they started booing him just like that before he even did his set completely and they booed even comedians like Tracy Morgan and Bob Saget and kinda ruined the show for everybody , so Bill burr was next and he was pissed to see them do that to him and decided just to unleash on them and attack everything that they loved and it was legendary , by the end the booes turned into cheers

He has said he is sad he forget to mention the 76ers 😂 This was a great comedic lineup including Dom Irerra, Tracy Morgan, Patrice O’Neal, Bon Saget etc. There is an interview with Bill about this where he has said he does hate that he wasn’t professional but he got tired of watching the crowd boo some of the other comics. The crowd was incredibly drunk at a huge comedy festival and it’s Philly so I’m sure you know how their crowds are to absolutely everybody. If you will throw stuff at Santa you will let comedians have it for sure. 😂This made Bill a legend for sure. He thought this was the end of his career but he got a standing ovation and Bob Saget met him backstage and said this would put his career on a huge trajectory

There's a 3 min video on Joe Rogan's YT Channel, where Comedian Bob Saget (RIP 😔) was talking about what happened in Philadelphia. Bob Saget was part of the lineup for this Tour. He said that he was standing right beside the curtain and Bill was freaking out a lil' bit when he finished. Btw, that wasn't Bob who interrupted Bill from backstage near the end of the video.
