The Jazz-Rock fusion was short-lived but wonderful. Incredible musicianship and composing. The Greek Gods tribute was genius on the part of Bill and lyric writer Erin Adair. Few people ever even appreciated it and most never even heard of it. My favorite side one track is 'Woman of the Dark' which showcases all the Trumpet players

Thanks for posting! Great to have footage of the Chase band! Wow, Angel South was a huge presence in live performance, much more so than on the albums. On the other hand, these shows from Japan were often heavily edited to fit the TV timeslot. Chicago's concert from Japan the same year (1972), while excellent is obviously trimmed quite a bit.

Love GG's work on this live vid as well as the album! Wish the quality was a little better but I'll take what I can get! GG was great when I met him in Minneapolis!

Holy shit. I was listening to this as I was doing other stuff. I looked at the screen and realized he was using a bow on the guitar. What?

Is it possible to clean this up? This is such a rare opportunity to watch one of the finest trumpeters perform. It's a shame the recording is so degraded !

Once again.....during "Get it On"......no camera love for the bass guitarist. I know he's there; I hear him. But no---ZERO---photographic evidence. No love for bass players. Waah. We deserve a waah.

That was the most obnoxious guitar thing I have ever witnessed. On behalf of the United States of America, I would like to apologize to the people of Japan for having to endure that. I'm sure some peoples' ears are still ringing 50 years later.
