One of the best moments of my life, playing with my mentor and colleague Bill Dixon, in a music which was both deep and spontaneous; I hear it now, 54 years later, and it seems only like yesterday.

I have always loved this work of yours with Bill Dixon I remember the happiness when I managed to buy these two volumes. The sound of your saxophone is simply beautiful and loaded with tension. Thanks Steve Horenstein for giving us these emotions.

@@pristinerecords This is my judgment about the musician Bill Dixon! You can read, can't you?

@@GeoCoppens Why do you think it's overrated? Why do you think its pointless? What do you think the point should be? Why do you think music needs to have a point or not?

@@obscurer1898 Bill Dixon was a jazz teacher and performer at Bennington, NY. He made his students and followers believe he was a genius. Also as a painter. His music was below par. The best he did was a good album with tenor saxophonist Archie Shepp in 1962 for Savoy. After that he turned out poor music. And poor music is pointless!
