I was ready to go home 4 years ago at the age of 48. After some serious mistakes made in life, I have grown tired of living and wanted to be with my grandparents again. I suppose that if it wasn't for my kids, my elderly mother and father, and my sister, perhaps He would have granted my request. But now I understand why He didn't. My ex wife abandoned our kids, my father has had 2 strokes and my mother, congestive heart failure among other serious health issues. So I must be here for them.

There was a member of a church God sent me to for a season and a member there was home with a very grave illness and pastor said his condition was worsening .. I went home and in the wee hours of that morning God dropped this song into my heart. I had never heard it until then.. as he often does, God drops into my heart songs I never heard and it usually is right around or after he calls people home and once it even happened with a child..God knows the love language of my heart is music for some reason my spirit is so sensitive to it .. I pray that one day I will be an angel singing in his choir bc I love singing for my father in heaven .. here on earth and in heaven in Jesus name I pray amen ..

My mom had a stroke in May 1994 and my father was dying from congestive heart failure. I'm an only child My husband was a pallbearer. I kissed him on the lips and broke down in tears. My cousin Linda Keilman held me in her arms and I sobbed uncontrollably. I shall NEVER forget that day. Shortly after I fell into a deep depression. I even became suicidal. Thank you God for Betty and Veronica. My husband had a gun and I couldn't bring myself to use it. Thank you God for saving my life.

This song was played on tape by Terri Bewley at my father's funeral. Today is my father's 19th anniversary in Heaven. Praise God he went home to all his family members and many brothers and sisters arrived shortly thereafter. My aunt Carol sang. There were so many neighbors and friends and coworkers who attended. There wasn't a dry eye at the funeral. I even had special friend come to the wake from work. Thank you for giving to the Lord. 1994 was a difficult year for me.
