As an RN at a large bay area hospital, i can tell you we are not treating this with the concern it demands. We are grossly ill equipped and the patients whom we send out test for Covid are not being separated from the general population of patients in that they are given a private room, but rooms right next to them are occupied with reg patients, nurses are not at all equipped to keep this from spreading to their fellow workers, or the other patients. Reg rooms are being used when this should be treated in negative pressure rooms. A good HVAC contractor could convert 50 rooms to neg pressure in a week, it only requires the ducting to be switched around and brought to a new fan and filtration system. The only reason this is not being done is to save money. Many nurses are staying home and even thought the hospital is not at all busy yet, we are already short on nurses. In three weeks we are going to all be sick and staying home and we will likely not have even a third of the nurses that will be required. My colleagues and I have no trouble putting ourselves at risk if this were being attacked with all the weapons available....i.e. the same cash infusion to hospitals that is being given to boeing and other large corporations......America is sliding down a very slippery slope when the stock market is all that matters to our government and the Orange idiot king that is heading up the "Free" world these days....what a shame....the America I was born into 58 years ago is dead and gone. All we have to do is to act responsibly and reasonably for some time, accept that we need to reduce our expectations and we are almost certain that we will get over this episode rather well. That's much more than most people in the world can hope for. For most of them, Covid-19 ist just another opportunity to suffer or die and this opportunity is followed up with the catastrophes they faced before and will face after the virus. Lookup photos of German concentration camps or German cities after WW2 to see what "crippling anxiety" means. Imagine yourself in one of the trenches of WW1 or just imagine how collateral damage feels about dragging the corpses of their family out of the ruins left by drone strikes. Imagine how these people feel about how their daily routine changed and how dramatic it is what you experience right now. You can only go out to buy food stuff and medicine. That means you get to eat. You're privileged, you're not going through tough times. You lost your job. You had one in first place and you're likely to get it back. Some of us will die from Covid-19 and suffer before we do. Some might have to make tough decisions like who will get treatment and who won't. Some of us will loose loved ones. These are the ones for whom times are tough, these have the right to whine. The rest of us should stay home and stop whining. And while we spend the time contemplating the lack of entertainment, we might want to readjust our sense of normality and appreciate what some people have to go through to be called economic immigrants.

The Arab world's animosity is a consequence of your petrol gathering policies and the unconditional support for Israel's policy of depopulating Palestine. The list goes on. You are not investing in the world, you are the leeches extracting resources and imposing crippling pain. Remember that you are the invaders? The guys entering the US on the Mexican border are not invaders. They are not spaniards steeling your gold or Brits, Germans, Irishmen sending you to reservations. They are coming to clean your home. You had a referendum to determine which language you would speak. If your demography would have been slightly different you might well have ended up speaking German today. Countries like Switzerland prove that it's not only possible but not at all detrimental to have more than one official language. They have four (German, French, Italian and Romansk). You believe that your culture would not survive the impact of a minority speaking something you don't understand because you can't be bothered to learn a single foreign language and make it your own? So once the baby boomers die off, our population will actually be less. The only groups that are still procreating at high rates are minorities and third world countries. Since we let an average of 1,000,000 immigrants a year into America, the population will probably still rise, but the balance will be offset over time. Furthermore, even if it were true, he doesn't get to hold the scales and determine who lives and dies. Did you know the entire world population right now could fit inside the state of North Dakota?
