The Republican party died when MAGA took over the RNC. March 20, 1854 - March 8th, 2024. RIP! It has been replaced by the new MAGA party. Only MAGA and Democrat are viable options in November. Any vote not given to a Democrat is a vote for MAGA. Choose a future!

I enjoy watching it, too. The only complaint I have is that in the TV listings, there is never given a synopsis of who the guests will be on a particular show or what topics will be discussed. Therefore, I don’t invest the time in watching the show because I don’t know what it’s going to be about. If I knew beforehand, then I could definitely choose whether or not I wanted to watch it. It’s not just a rumor. Trump tried creating a “Schedule F” by executive order 13957 just weeks before the 2020 general election which would have stripped federal employees of legal job protections and allowed the President to replace them without going through the civil service hiring process. The National Treasury Employees Union sued the Trump administration over this, but I can’t find where that suit ended up. Biden repealed the order with executive order 14003 without any employees having been moved to this classification, but Republicans would try to revive it if they re-take the White House.

The only possible saving grace with a second Trump presidency is that in five years even if Trump tried to stay on as dictator after his term would be over there is a good chance that he will be too senile by then to know what he is doing. Though I fear that the same MAGA cult members who want to vote for him now even though he said over 30,000 untrue things while president would still worship him and obediently follow him even if he was completely senile.
