My fiancee is a third grade teacher, a right leaning Catholic Independent, from a Trump supporting family, and shes voting Democrat for the first time due to the exhaustion of Trump (she never voted for him, but left the slot empty), abortion (shes catholic but not insane) and she likes Tim Walz, a fellow teacher. I hope the same conversation is happpening all over the country to turn the page on Trumpism. We cannot go back.

I stood in line today and a red rural voting line. there was a couple in front of me that said they were voting for Harris and they’ve never voted for Democrat in their life. He was a veteran and many things that Trump said turned him off and they’re both afraid of losing their Medicare they worked all their lives now they take care of their grandchildren. The lady behind me is taken care of for 80 year old husband, and she was in line by herself and said she was voting for Harris because she desperately needs in-home care and her insurance. But what she was most scared about was democracy because she’s of German dissent and her ancestors suffered, and she knows what he prepares to do to this country. She also said she’s never voted for a republican president. Have faith I’m sure these are not the only stories.
