Absolutely Excellent ! What a rare gift. So few evaders offered 'in depth' talks like his. Love stories of evasions and 'would-be' evaders during WWII. Sgt William John Quirke Magrath's evasion report, held at KEW (for free download), is SPG 683. That of Sgt James Oliver is SPG 682. Both make very good reading.

In that same vein: Just finished reading "Prisoners of the Castle," by Ben MacIntyre. Very absorbing book. The BBC did a pretty good job of portraying it accurately.

Truly fascinating real life hero in my opinion, The stress of been wanted by the Germans and trusting strangers must've been extremely difficult. I salute all the brave men and women who gave their lives during both world wars.
