Wendy Williams told a Cosby story on her talk show a few years back. She said that back in the 90's when she was reading tabloid headlines about Cosby on her radio show, he heard and called her station manager to complain. She got called into her manager's office and Cosby, on speakerphone, called her every name and read her up and down for talking about him on the radio. Maher isn’t big on moralism, especially family values moralism which was Cosby’s entire schtick. He sees the same thing most sensible people do. It’s fake. Moralism is a mask people wear for the public, so Cosby being a monster under that mask was fitting.

It's a shame he didn't bring up the drugging and raping...that would have been a useful, actionable opinion. My Cosby story. I did open mike back in the 90s. There was a guy folks called The Ghost. Deadly funny, but only came out every 6 months or so. They locked 12 of us in the club hours before a show, for some reason. We all gathered on stage, with drinks. Ghost had his hand covering his cup. Someoneone said "relax , Cosby's not here". We all asked wtf? And he told us the story. An old working comic said" you never heard that if you want to work here again". Club owners protected him. I lost interest in comedy about then.
