The key is to understand why people believe what they believe, makes it easier to co-exist. A few years ago...I went to see Bill Maher at Nokia Theater LA live cause I am a fan..but the thing was...all of his jokes..I kinda heard already watching his show...not much new...just an FYI for anyone thinking about catching his comedy show. He is not a comedian in the vein of say Chris Rock or Dave Chapelle...you won't be busting a gut laughing..but it was good to see him in person and support him.

I watch bills show every week. The thing I’d say is you love it when you agree with him, but can be annoyed when you don’t. I’m fine with that. I don’t have to agree with him on everything. Bill Maher reminds me of my previous work mentor and a reflection of myself because I was the only one got along with him at the company. Regrettably the choice between a terribly flawed candidate few actually "liked" and a Hail Mary wild card were imposed on a horrified electorate. Did the country choose correctly in that situation? I would suggest it actually did although it was horrible, just less horrible. He has always been a rational, moderate liberal, but both sides have become more fanatical and extreme while he has steered the course. America needs moderates. Compromise seems to be a dirty word in the US, it seems to be seen as a sign of weakness. But compromise is the hallmark of diplomacy and democracy.
