I make it a point to catch every episode of Real Time. I love it when Conservatives and Republicans come on the show. I really want to hear their views. I don't always agree with Bill, but more often than not, I concur with Bill. He and John Oliver are the reason I subscribe to HBO.

A few years ago...I went to see Bill Maher at Nokia Theater LA live cause I am a fan..but the thing was...all of his jokes..I kinda heard already watching his show...not much new...just an FYI for anyone thinking about catching his comedy show. He is not a comedian in the vein of say Chris Rock or Dave Chapelle...you won't be busting a gut laughing..but it was good to see him in person and support him.

The key is to understand why people believe what they believe, makes it easier to co-exist. Bill Maher reminds me of my previous work mentor and a reflection of myself because I was the only one got along with him at the company. He's brutal with his comments, but someone who you can converse with -- if you have the rhetoric and can take bad humor. Otherwise, he'll crush you because he's well informed. Y ou want an advisor but you should read investing for dummies over the course of a year. even if just 2-3 pages every day. investment banking for dummies would be another book to get you into the terminology of the finance world so you know how to talk to the financial adviisors. Consider Coursera.com offers a Investment and Portfolio Management Specialization offered by Rice University if you pay for Coursera Plus 45$/month, again go thru it slow, watching 1-3 short videos per day or every other day. Think long term gains, not rush. Look for a deal in Wall Street Journal online, they offer a 1$/week subscription where you get the weekend print edition, I personally read the headlines during the week, try to read the weekend print edition home, finance pages thruout the week, 4 articles (2 finance, 2 home) per day to learn the finance terminology. Anyway, just suggestions. Even 20-40 mins every day is good for learning finances and investing. It is good to have a money manager or advisor who pays by the hour and isn't selling you anything else, but you should have some knowledge of investing so he doesn't dupe you, because not all advisors manage 100 million $, and don't have to register with the SEC, you don't want a money manager doesnt take lots of hidden service fees

Changing pronouns and teaching being trans is ok and major private stuff that is parents and their kids only conversations only. Men and boys being in girls bathroom and locker room staring and theirs men that have messed with girls and women. This is what’s going on with most liberals and their equally right now. Bill Maher is more relevant than ever. His views have not changed. He has always been a rational, moderate liberal, but both sides have become more fanatical and extreme while he has steered the course. America needs moderates. Compromise seems to be a dirty word in the US, it seems to be seen as a sign of weakness. But compromise is the hallmark of diplomacy and democracy.
