As long as 2 parties control most of the country, a 3rd party will always play the role of spoiler, going back all the way to Teddy Roosevelt which spoiled it for Taft leading to Wilson. Regardless of who wins, the American people need to stay involved. With social media it's possible for all of us to speak up when they are doing or trying to do something that we don't agree with. Too many people go home after they vote, if they vote, and feel like they've done their part. Well, it's not enough and the divide in the country is proof of that. We have the Congress and presidential candidates we have because that's who we have voted for to occupy the most important positions in the country. We can not afford to surrender our power, the little we have left, to the rich because they will completely own our Government in no time and we'll really be screwed.
