DHoward is getting there. He worked hard on his jumpshot and the fundamentals in the post. He'll probably never be as dominant as shaq so he needs that. I hope he wins that championship one day, I really do

I feel like someone along his path, Dwight forgot these values. He's in the perfect situation to succeed, and it just doesn't seem like he wants it enough. Or he works hard enough, or thinks enough. With his body, he should be able to carve out a legendary career.

yeah, howard and russ are very similar. russell never missed an opportunity to spike the ball into the stands when blocking, cared about his stats and place in history, disappeared in crunch time and mailed in seasons while dreaming about that big market contract. similarities indeed.

Dwight Howard has the privilege of getting advice from one of the greatest centers of all time, yet he's a complete fool. This guy cannot play seriously. If you don't believe me, think about it. This guy had the frame, athletic ability, and the potential to be a dominant center, but all his potential has been washed down the drain. He constantly has issues with chemistry on whatever team he's on, and he doesn't have the competitive greatness and sense of urgency that almost all all-time greats have.

Actually they're both almost around the same height. Dwight is 6'11" with SHOES ON. The NBA today measures height with players in their sneakers. Bill Russell is 6'9-10" barefoot. That means Wilt Chamberlain would stand at about 7'3" if he were wearing today's sneakers. Scary, isn't it?
@hasanisgs6676 жыл бұрын
jaranarm Wilt 7'3? -_- exaggerated wilt was 7'1 so without shoes he would be 7'2 not 7'3 and that would mean Kareem would be 7'3 if he was listed w/o shoes at 7'2
@luisdhl8914 жыл бұрын
The talk about FINALS MVP Dwight howard was thinking in that award and the tittle is the thing that you should have in your mind
@jaranarm12 жыл бұрын
Shoes usually give a player about an inch or so, but you know the NBA likes to round their numbers up. Dwight is actually 6'10.25" with shoes on but is listed as 6'11".
@localboi2514 жыл бұрын
i believe dwight will be in the hall of fame, top 10 if not top 15 best centers in the history of the game.... i mean hes a "true" center, one that rebounds, blocks shots, and dunks that ball hard! hes not one of those jump shooting types who arent as physical, those are more like PF's rather than centers

@josecarranza75558 жыл бұрын
dwight howard interrupting an NBA legend and not taking him seriously in this video tells you a lot about dwight howard. dwight howard always smiling, making jokes, but his mental game is not there, his commitment is not there to be a champion. Traded to the Lakers and couldn't take Kobe Bryant's work ethic and serious commitment, now to Houston not getting along with James Harden and now dwight signed with the Atlanta Hawks, his fourth team in 6 years. If dwight howard continues acting like this, he will never win a championship.

I’m sick of people saying this. Dwight Howard is a sure fire hall of famer and had a 4-5 year run of dominance. He should have won an MVP. Yes he fell off a cliff after that but people forget the injures he’s had. Yao Ming was a dominant force as well and got ruined because of injuries as well but no one brings up that, when it comes to Dwight it’s supposedly all mental yet he had a very successful run and dominated the game for a few years. “His commitment to being a champion is not there” I’m sorry did you watch him during his Orlando prime years? He had everything in his game mentally and physically and had a bunch of one dimensional shooters around him. He led his team to an nba finals and played his heart out. Stop soaking in the sensationalist headlines the media spout about this guy; he had problems with Kobe Bryant, who hasn’t had problems with Kobe Bryant?
@therealpvc25413 жыл бұрын
How is his mental game not there? In the video he literally said that he wants to work in the summer which is not wrong at all and that’s the right mentality to have. He literally thanked Bill Russell at the end of the vid for his advice. What’s wrong with smiling and making jokes? Bill does it all the time. You’re always complaining and nitpicking in the comment section you’re a nobody when it comes to ball. Get a life. You have no clue about what they got going on.
