Alyssa Loves jerome because he was already busy with starting IT when suicide squad was already busy as well. Basically he didn’t know about the suicide squad audition and he wasn’t the IT clown yet so people wouldn’t know he had this good clown act. If IT came out in like 2014 then the chance would’ve been bigger for him to get the role of the joker. But Jared Leto his preformance was awesome as well.

MelinaVader I politely disagree. Pennywise in the book was still a clown that could pretend to be playful to get a child's attention and then instantly turn to an evil monster. Bill, was just a monster. Wasn't playful, he couldn't trick any kid on the planet acting like the monster the entire time. What kid would fall for that ? I don't even think this movie was that true to the book either given the fact the book took place in the 60s and this was 1989. So in chapter 2, 27 years later it's going to be 2016! They're gonna have cell phones and social media and blah blah blah... all that was not in the book lol
