The beatiful thing with Bill Stewart is that he has worked in a very honest and creative field through the years. He is unique in his success with that, understandably because he is so amazingly good at it. The keeper of the flame! Pulse, touch (sound) and phrasing is and has been outstanding, to say the least.

i think what defines Bill as one of my favourite drummers, is that he can articulate clearly what he is trying to say. you can always understand his intention of a phrase, cause he has such control over volume and dynamics.

I am admittedly such a "rock drummer", but Bill Stewart is undeniably one of the best drummers of all time! He has a seemingly endless vocabulary and a uniqueness/quirkiness that makes him almost impossible to stop watching... Lovely sounding drums too ! Thank you!
