Bill explains his unique exercise for developing kicking endurance.
Bill would execute between 2 and 7 kicks per combination (without putting his foot down between kicks) for a full 3-minute round. He would do up to 7 rounds per workout, 6 days a week. Bill is the greatest kicker in the history of karate - why not add some of his ideas to your own routine and see how he can help you!

What a bunch of haters. Yes, Wallace is from the old school, but he was an innovator for his time. His bread and butter was his lead leg hook kick to the face. And yes, he did knock people out. He was one of the first professional karate fighters. People are arrogant, as if you have acheived more skill and success than Wallace, or anyone else for that matter. I guess some of you are just a bunch of tough guys, huh? The Martial Spirit is a lost art with a lot of today's practitioners. "Who can kick who's ass...." common sense just isn't common anymore.

Well I was thinking this would be a funny thing, the video in the thumb nail, like Napoleon dynamite or something like that, but the guy is pretty good, I don't know if he could fight in a real fight, I just never saw him fight, he could probably kick my ass, but, overall I think he looks like a nice dude and deserves respect like all of us. Don't take the internet that seriously. Chill man.

I sparred with bill superfoot once, I punched his kidney and then karate chopped him in his right thump, it broke his thumb into a 90 degree angle.. he begged me to fix it for him and I said Nossir.. I’ll do no such thing. as punishment for such a request I toe flicked his right nipple blue(only triple black belts know what that means).. he apologized of course.. and I took him for a hot lunch and taught him how to fight like me.. I never heard from him again.

Ironic. No one else can do this. And be as stable on one leg. Most guys can just r throw about 2 kids before starting to loos balance. And as much as I respect Bill for his talent and what he accomplished in the sport of American kickboxing and teaching...I can't help but wonder why any one would pick a sport where one gets punched and kicked in the head. Likely to suffer some degree of brain damage. Some have died (Thailand/Muay Thai). Takes only one clean blow to the head to forever chance one's life for the worse. I would never consider the consequences of full-contact fighting. Just watch for the entertainment as pect. IT's when it involves your family or friend that it hits home more. To some of us.

The most effective stuff isn't this fancy kicking ...now I'm not saying these kicks aren't dangerous because they are but it's the muay thai simple low leg kick and side head kick which are prodominant in mma because all the other stuff is too risky when opposed with single and double leg takedowns.....only now and again do you see a film style fancy kick ko someone. ......

@flexibilityresearch
@flexibilityresearch 5 жыл бұрын
Yes. Don't mistake the lack of thrust for lack of power. Bill's kicks had plenty of snap; he made his opponents move in to the kick, thereby increasing the chance of a KO. See his fight with Bernd Grothe (hook kick) or Jim Echollas (roundhouse kick) for examples.
@f4ust85
@f4ust85 5 жыл бұрын
@@flexibilityresearch Thank you. I couldnt find the first one, but Echollas seemed to get caught by the follow-up punches and immediately got up. I meant a true fight-ending KO after which they have to wake you up, like the ones Mirko Filipovic or Peter Aerts used to cause every other week by a thai-style roundhouse to the head. But I guess its about as likely as finishing someone by a "judo chop". No disrespect to Wallace.
