Not true, the physical attributes and instinctual methods of the lion and tiger are very different, and by this we can see who would potentially win in a fight to the death, The Lion is built to fight and gets protection from it's Main that protects it's neck, how ever the Tiger is a killer but needs a neck bite to kill, if the Tiger is faced with a male Lion getting the tigers mouth clamped down on the throat of a lion is near enough impossible, however a Siberian Tiger is a lot bigger than an African male Lion and it would be very unlikely for a male Lion to kill the Siberian Tiger. I would edge it slightly to the Lion in a fight for dominance tho.
