One of those you have to really listen to due to the density of info being discussed/conveyed. I appreciate his perspective about power being used without the public's awareness. imho, most Americans don't and won't care so long as they think gas isn't too expensive, the prices at McD's are reasonable for them and their family, and a 12 pack of Bud is cheap.

Great podcast!! As a female, yes the uniform works exactly like that. Fleet Week in NYC is very patriotic, yes. But also when the ships dock they are literally floating hors d'oeuvre platters of men in uniform! God Bless America 🇺🇸 🤣🤣🤣

This man’s treatment through his “ education “ sounds so familiar with myself and many of my friends. “ You don’t apply yourself” was the common statement for worker bee school programs. His outlook and journey are a great success are both motivating and interesting . Great guest Andy. Michael please pay attention to these lessons.

To each their own but in my opinion, technology is taking the "hunt" out of hunting. As for the "Russian podcast money", it's not like any of the podcasters caught up in it changed their positions in any way.

The president does not have as much power as people thinks he does. “Why does the president have the power to make change for 300mil people?” Is a very dumb thing to say. However I completely agree power should be allocated from the bottom up, and it actually is. You’re town council has more power over your life than the president. I just wish this guy and more people understood that

He definitely wrong about the Dept of Education. I don’t know where he grew up, but Virginia required civics in 7th grade and U.S. government in 12 grade when I was in school along with history etc. The curriculum is set by the state and the Dept of Education doesn’t mandate any curriculum. That’s reserved for the States under the 10th amendment. If your state isn’t teaching Civics, it’s your states fault.

Whenever I see the opener when Andy fires off the Javelin and smile laughs at the camera it reminds me of my section corporal in Iraq in 1991 (Australian). Back then we were a poverty stricken army and going to the range was a special day. In Iraq my section Corporal was chosen to fire off (zero) our section's gun, a MAG58. Combo fired at a lone tree in the scrub and it burst into flame. Now a Javelin is a multilevel weapon. But in the late 1980s and early 1990s having 500 rounds of a Mag58 to blow off was as satisfying to us as it was to Andy launching the Javelin.
