It's so entertaining to watch - I love when they get annoyed. I think they all make valid points and I love their outlook. Souness and the two boys each make excellent points - Dunphy is the loose cannon but his problem is that he over-exaggerartes how bad someone plays but he still gets his point across.

The great thing about Giles and Dunphy, they're always wise AFTER the event. They usually have one opinion before the game and a different one after it. Dunphy in particular deliberately exaggerates and sensationalizes just for the hell of it. Does my head in at times.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. For what it's worth, I think Wenger has got plenty of money to spend. Arsenal make far too much money for him not to, he just chooses not to spend it. Now, if you fail to acheive your goals because you choose not to invest in trying to acheieve them, then you can only blame yourself. Wenger is a genius, of that there's no doubt, but that doesn't mean his judgement is not flawed. All genius' are flawed in some way......

Stumbled across the video, it' now 19th of July 2014. I remember this match and analysis from the CL second leg, when United spanked Arsenal to reach the 2009 final. Looking back, it would be another 5 years until Arsenal won a trophy, the 2014 FA Cup, and another 4 years later until Wenger started splashing the cash on players such as Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. Also to note, he sold the likes of Fabregas, Nasri, Song, van Persie, Adebayor, Toure etc. along the way. Imagine!!!

Fergusons had some misses in the transfer department (veron comes to mind), but when he's gone 4 big money deals more often than not he gets it right; rooney, van nistelrooy, ferdinand...and lets not forget he spent £7m on Vidic who is reguarded as the best CB in the prem this season and Evra for £5.5m whose the best LB in the prem. so to dismiss fergusons eye for a great player who can still develop, and asume he just throws money for a big name then i'm afraid its you whose deluded.

haha.. giles never guided his team to any European Cups..and was routinely on the losing end in finals and leagues. He was a briilliant player but very rarely scored, created or dominated the midfield.. Souness did all those things as captain of the greatest British club team ever assembled. Souness was Rolls Royce player, incredible assist for 1978 EC winner..classy, yet hard as nails. Souness as the best central midfielder in history of British football.. awesome player, shit manager/pundit

Souness was spot on here. Wenger has loadsa money to spend - any shareholder will tell you that. His ego is what stops him from spending the money needed to compete with the Man U's. If Giles or Dunphy did any research they would know this. Arsenal are a PLC and it is a major criminal offence to give false accounts or statements about their finances. According to their financial statements, they make a healthy profit.
