Do you ever go up the Bill Williams River and is the fishing there any good? Thinking it might be a good place on a windy day?

I’ve actually only been to the bridge never been any further up..where to get out of the wind at bill williams I would think is down the other way in the cliffs (in between the kayak launch and havasu springs)
