Erin needs some travel warrior training from mom and dad! You guys seemed fine! One thing I learned from traveling is to ease the jet lag issue, whenever you land, DO NOT nap until the evening, even if you land early in the morning. It will really throw everything off. If you nap, you're going to find yourself wide awake at 2 a.m.!

You should have gotten the famous Family Mart fried chicken! Too bad you had rain most of your one-day visit, but you were only eating, not sightseeing. The weather is usually great in the fall, my favorite season in Japan. Love the autumn fruits - persimmons, Japanese pears and grapes. Next time!

Guys, if you go to Uwajimaya in Seattle (Bill and Lisa know of this cool store, that is so much fun to browse in!) you can buy hot teas in the cans, which are in little hot fridge-looking type thingies (Excuse how terribly articulate I am, haha) right next to the cashiers. I buy heated cans all of the time!!!
