Always nice to get a comped room. Nice little queen suite. Love how the theme of the Orleans add the NOLA touches all around. Lots of deals and things always going on at the Orleans. There was a bowling and cheer competition going on when we were there. Heard from our Uber driver that the Orleans is the place where Locals love to go to.

Oh wow the tempura shrimp, and the sushi looks fantastic guys, what a great selection of foods. I love steamed BBQ buns, they’re one of my favourites to eat when i go to Asian restaurants.

The Orleans buffet is a real bargain; the food is quite good and their bread pudding with vanilla sauce is the best I've found in LAS. The prices are reasonable and you can use your players' card points to pay for it!

I love the Orleans! That place has a great seafood buffet. But if you really wanted a treat there's a spa called The Oasis right across the street. Whenever me and my girlfriend go to Vegas that's a must! Best couples massage in Vegas!!

if you decide to explore out of the strip, there is a handpulled noodles called Magic Noodles on Ft Apache. down the street is an awesome pizza place (they sell by the slice) in the Walmart complex. Love the Grandma's slice (tomato sauce on it is unreal!)

My husband and I love Orleans! Have you tried Alder & Birch yet? We loved the food there. My husband loved the Boneless Beef Short Ribs and the Grilled Cream Corn was the best we've ever had! We look forward to your weekly videos. Have a wonderful time on the cruise! Safe travels =)

Looks like they made a lot of changes. I remember when it used to be a very cheap place to stay. Now with the resort fees, even during a weekday it's still close to 100.00/night, crazy.

I always stay at The Orleans when I come to LAS (twice a year) and I consider their property fairly priced---especially for players' card members. I do agree, however that "resort fees" in ANY hotel to be a blatant, in-your-face rip off. Geez, honesty would suggest raising the room rates would be the way to go!

Great video, we are back at Orleans for our first 2 nights in March. Stayed in November and really enjoyed it - nice atmosphere, good food and drink prices and very friendly staff. My daughter and her boyfriend found the slots very loose - much to our annoyance!!! 🤬

I really loved grimaldis- I went to the one in fashion show mall twice when I was in Vegas last November- built my own pizza. We have terrible pizza in Australia. USA makes best pizza

Orleans was our place after they tore down the Stardust. Loved everything about it. Except the noisy pocket doors on the bathroom. Haven't tried the remodeled buffet but loved the Copper Whisk.

We also had breakfast at the Copper Whisk before heading back to the airport. It was good, but price wise, it ended up costing more than the breakfast buffet, mainly because coffee and OJ were additional.

For the free shuttle bus, they park out from of the main casino side entrance. We just walked out the door and entered the bus. Greeted by the Driver, no room key showing required. Not sure about the return trip from the Strip to the Hotel though, we walked to the cosmopolitan and took a ride share back.

If it appears to the driver the bus may be full, the driver gives priority to room-key-showing guests; most times, no.

Next time in vegas, try out the Silverton Hotel and Cracker Barrel it's just outside of Silverton we tried both and enjoyed our stay there!

I saw your pizza picture on fb before this vlog. I didn't know you went to the one at the Palazzo that particular Grimaldis really isn't good. I used to work right around the corner from that at the IV company there and anytime someone would say let's get Grimaldi's I would give it a try and it would be terrible... after 4 to 5 times i never went back.I used to love table 10 there and when they closed I cried.😭.. But the Grimaldis in fashion show mall is actually really good 👌 don't know why one is good and the other one isn't , but that's what I found to be true. if you're looking for good shrimp and walnut dish they have it at the Hong Kong Cafe there in Palazzo 🦐🦐🦐

Grimaldi's pizza is very good , whenever you come back to Vegas you have to try Domdemarco's Pizzeria💖 near Alta & Charleston in the Northwest part of town. My favorite pizza ever ,try the Sicilian Difara Special pepperoni pizza 😍😍

I'd imagine the free hotel shuttle bus is for customers (hotel stay or gamblers) of the Orleans and Gold Coast.

The shuttle is for everyone. They say they only restrict it to guest on the last run if it is overcrowded. But it is such a big bus I have never seen that happen.

Haven't been to the Orleans in a few years, but planning to go when I visit Vegas this June. I had no idea about the free shuttle, I always UBER'd. Where can you catch the shuttle on the strip to go there? Fashion show mall only? Thanks for all the great tips, especially this one! :)

The shuttle bus only makes 3 stops; Orleans, Gold Coast, and the Fashion Show Mall (drop off and pick up next to the rainbow steps you see in this vlog, with the Trump Hotel in the background). From the mall, we made our way to the Cosmopolitan, then took an Uber back to the Orleans. Not mentioned in this vlog, but the bowling alley, movie theatre and arcade area additional things to do at this hotel.

Yes, but video setting still set on 1080P 60 fps. It has 3 different 4K settings, but haven't tried them out yet. Waiting for low light videos to try the 4K, just big time memory eaters. lol We did however use the new wide angle features throughout this vlog.

Can you two remember if the Orleans was still real smokey, I liked the hotel but the cigarette smoke was thick, l would like to go back, I don't smoke so the heavy cigarette smoke gets to me!! You two are the Best ❤️!!!

The Orleans does have a Resort Fee. Not sure how much the fee is, ours was waived because of the comp'd room.

Comped rooms do not have a "resort fee." Also, no fee when playing in an invited slot tournament.
