The oldies system allows us to select the amount of ball to take and the effect to use, when we play ball, short cushion, long cushion and short cushion.
Having this possibility is very important for the positional game (performing series), since we can vary the amount of ball to take and thus place ball 2 in a fertile area that facilitates the next carom.

One option is to use a value of 3 for the ball hit and a value of 4 for effect.
