@@kendalgibson4694 True. That's probably my appeal with Ride It, at least. However, I don't really feel the same way with the Imanbek remix of Roses. Going from the deeper sounding voice to high-pitched vocals of the same song feels jarring in that case.

I've heard only a snippet of the original when I went to Billboard.com and it sounded uninteresting. This was after I heard the remix on the radio and was like "what is this? Why am I enjoying it so much?" I mean, the remix is far from being as good as any song by Deadmau5 but at least it's a change of pace for the hot 100.

@@11LuStar Remember this, though... it debuted in Fortnite. A rap song debuting in Fortnite. And it's of decent quality, featuring Travis Scott and a good return for Kid Cudi (even though it's not really his solo career so much as it is another good collab project like Kids See Ghosts was). I'm sure it'll at least get one week at the very top. Maybe one more than that as well if people genuinely enjoy it well enough.

Despite being less than 3 minutes, it feels like a 7 minute song because the 8 line 1st chorus repeats twice in both the 2nd and 3rd choruses. WHY?????? 2/10 DROP: Why does A Boogie sound so much like Young Thug? I know Young Thug influences a lot of rappers this generation but on this song A Boogie is ripping him off. Still, leagues ahead of what DaBaby is doing. 5/10 SAD SHIT: Another forgettable DaBaby song. 4/10 BLAME IT ON BABY: Another forgettable DaBaby song. 4/10 CAN'T STOP: Why not? 3/10 More Than My Hometown: A decent country song about not being able to change for his relationship, though he doesn't really describe why he likes his hometown. I get he doesn't like the city, but that doesn't necessarily mean he likes his hometown either. 6/10 LIGHTSKIN SHIT: Another forgettable DaBaby song. 4/10 NASTY: I love Ashanti's hook, but DaBaby's and Megan's verses are just sex cliches. 6/10 PICK UP: Another forgettable DaBaby song. 4/10 I'm Ready: I really wanted to like this song because the verses sound really dark and play into the sexy vibe, but the booming chorus with the choir vocals does not fit. 3/10 @MEH: This is a regression from Die Lit, which I sort of liked. He just doesn't sound like he cares. 3/10 JUMP: YBNBA really deserves to be as big DaBaby. Check out his most recent projects. 7/10 ROCKSTAR: I really wanted Roddy Ricch to do the chorus, but his verse is still good. 6/10 Ranked from Best to Worst: JUMP ROCKSTAR NASTY More Than My Hometown DROP All 5 DaBaby 4/10's God Whispered Your Name I'm Ready CAN'T STOP I Dare You @MEH TALK ABOUT IT After Party This week sucked.
