Something here at last for Spanish speakers. This clip embodies an old TV trick: you’re invited on to discuss your latest tour / book / band, but in exchange, you must perform. Increasingly that’s understood by anyone hawking his latest thing, but in my day that was only just becoming standard procedure. I was therefore totally unprepared to sit in with this great little house band on Mexico City TV, but there was absolutely no chance to refuse. That would have given grave offence.
