Great video Bill. I really liked that you showed the finished job from your retaining wall project. Hey Bill, checking back in from Australia. I noticed a vegi' garden in the background of one of the scenes. I'm always interested in the ways people grow their food, keep out predators, irrigate crops etc if that's something you can do a video on one day please? I'm yet to try out my grading scraper that I was inspired to purchase after watching your videos however, hoping to get it working on the driveway some day soon. Thanks for the videos. Look forward to seeing that balcony addition to your newly landscaped area some day soon ;-)

Hey, guess I'll check in, been watching a couple years by now I suppose, not far from you, Iowa City. I've got a Kubota L3901 and some various bits, a chipper, grapple, box blade (my King Kutter box blade isn't made as nicely as yours, I had to do some trimming etc to even mount it). I recently hacked up an old 3-pt blade into a SQQA snow blade with a hydraulic cylinder. I've been eying the backhoe for my tractor, really can't justify it other than it would be handy, I have a little backhoe envy - Cheers, Patrick
@billburkhart3 ай бұрын
Hi Patrick, good to hear from you again. It sounds like you’re accumulating a lot of excellent impliments. if you do purchase a backhoe, you will be surprised how projects will present themselves that you never knew needed to be done. Happy election day. -Bill

Hi Bill, It's Dennis from Greenville, MI. I have a JD 2032 and I love your videos. It's been about 10 months since I watched your channel so I had catch up to see what you have been doing. I have a few implements but not a pulverizer and after seeing this video, I think I will be getting one this summer. I have a tiller but have never used it, I may sell it and get a pulverizer in stead. Generally, what do they cost and do you recommend the land pride? Thanks for sharing and keep them coming, you're doing a great job.
@billburkhart13 күн бұрын
@@mackdenn Good morning, Dennis. It is so good to hear from you again. I LOVE this implement; it's my favorite. Hands down…..Landpride is an excellent choice! Be sure to consider the two-roller model and a power top link to maximize the implement's ability. You'll love it! Look for a clean, used one and plan on spending in the low $2,000 range. Let me know what you do. I'm excited for you. -Bill

Hello Bill, have a newie question. I have recently purchased a 2038R and was wondering the tiedown position you are using for secure travel. Love all the vides and have a good day!
@billburkhart15 күн бұрын
@@davidplunkett3250 Hi David. Here in Iowa Im required to secure all implements so I try down the front loader bucket, the Impliment in the rear of the tractor such as a backhoe bucket or tiller. Then, I run a ratchet strap over the front axle, pulling it towards the front at two points. Then, after installing a clevis through the rear hitch, I run a ratchet strap through it. I pull the tractor taught against the front tie-down. Clevis make tie-downs easier. Also, make sure the ratchet straps are rated for the load. Hope this makes sense. If not, get back to me.-Bill
