Bestway is forward and backwards motion and also setting your toplink to wear a little more back pressure on the back teeth

You can run that Pulverizer in forward and reverse. I find that beam well dig in and grade a bit more when pushing it compared to pulling, especially uphill. Looks great!

You don’t have the implement tilted down enough in the front… just need to adjust the top link because that double roller is letting the beam tines work

Man, this brings back memories. I’ve fought the good fight against the rocks too but mine were worse. I gave in and hired someone with a bulldozer and a skid loader to come in and get my rough grade close. It’s still not ready for final seeding though. My Kubota dealer suggested a reverse rotation rototiller. So I bought that and a new 4701. We’ll see how that goes in the spring when the ground thaws. Have you considered a reverse rotation tiller?

I actually have one. Well, I have a tiller that you can pick forward rotating or switch it to reverse rotating. I’ve got a video or two of me using it with my tractor, check them out!

Would this be better than a land plane for smoothing/leveling?

That is entirely dependent on your soil condition. If you have super sandy soil that breaks apart easily I would say a leveler, if you have clumpy clay soil, I would go with a pulverizer

I notice you are able to be off seat and operate forward........How did you change the seat switch to be able to do so? On my L4701, once I stand and try to move forward or reverse, it kills the engine. Thanks
