It's because he only does episodes when he has a product to sell, and he never interacts on the channel. He also fishes private ponds, so you can't trust what he sells. That being said, he knows what he's doing and doesn't care about being a trend setter, so I watch.

A spinnerbait, to me, is the most versatile lure available. It can be fished fast or slow, shallow or deep, around vegetation or in open water. And one of the best I ever used, I can't find anymore and that was the Stanley Vibrashaft. Mr. Guy Eaker could make that thing work magic.

Boy I love my old 6 foot five and six foot browning fiberglass rods with the pistol grip!. That being said, I have some new lightning stick spinning rods in 7 foot and longer for top water with frogs. It's a different feel, I like both, maybe it's the way I learned, but I will be buying a new pistol grip rod to put the best zebco reel on because I love that heritage!

Tip , Dont be afraid to fire out a spinnerbait , Because 2 weeks ago i search on bing about what baits to throw in the rain turns out you could throw top water baits despite what bing said i stuck with my better judgement and fired out the spinner bait all while in the middle of a severe thunder storm i mind you , after 3 cast i finally convinced myself it was about time i get back inside well on my 4th cast with the spinner bait with the colorado blade and the willow leaf blade i finally caught a 2 pound Largemouth i ran like hell inside the house with ole 2 pounds dangling showing my mom as proof took a photo then i released ole 2 pounds back in the water and off he swam to live another day , i was about to break tears over the fact that i caught a largemouth on a spinner bait for the 1st time on my 1st bait caster for the 1st time this year , now im such a believer i decided that im never never never leaving home without ole fateful spinnerbait manufactuered by googan squad and our good friends over at strike king

Sometimes you can't beat a spinnerbait. It's incredibly versatile. Good job but watch out for those storms!

I have switched from graphite to Carbon Fiber especially the Toray stuff. I think it is a much better rod material than graphite.

I'm a bank angler and use nothing shorter than 7ft. Some of my rods are UK imported feeder and carp rods. Feeder rod is 11ft and carp rod is 12ft. I fish hi lo rigs with #6 hooks on the feeder rod to catch shellcrackers, gills, white perch, and cats at range. With a 3000 size spinning reel with mono backing and Gliss 6lb line, I can cast a long way. I use the carp rod for big cats below dam and most saltwater surf panfish.
