I been Bass fishing a long long long time. And I ain’t never seen a bass jump in a boat. Now on days if I hammer them I may describe my day as “they were jumping in the boat”. Which is to say I was catching the hell out of them. But Of course Bill Dance they really are jumping in the boat!!!! Oh my gosh!!! And I been watching Bill since sometime in the mid 1980’s. That is crazy.!!!

I once years ago had a bass jump out of the water and grab a plastic worm hanging off my rod tip on a morning when we hadn't caught one yet, smh, we couldn't believe it

Not 99 out of 100 fisherman, even the "pros" would have given a rat's arse about the basses eye or life for that matter! I'm so glad to have this man as my mentor since the 70's. He actually respects these creatures we all seek, as do I & I try my best to pass this respect on to others. Thank you Bill!! Stay healthy buddy 'cause we love and need you!!

Great video! Have you ever put a trailer on a chatter bait?

I’m going to have to try one. I like how you can change the hooks if you have to cut them to save a fish. It’s better than having to their jig away like the others

Bill how much of the water you fish for your shows is private vrs public? Thanks for cutting the hooks in those eye hooked fish.

I think a lot of it is private, that doesn't mean he's not a legend that knows his stuff though.

At the beginning of the show I could see boat docks wayyyy and in the background. But he usually fishes old phosphate pits. Or a river ox bow that can only be accessed by private property. Or a private lake. Hell who wouldn’t invite Bill Dance to fish on your ranch?!?!? But he’s gotta make a show. Do you ever see any other boats? I mean if he came to my local lake it would look like Hank Cherry winning the classic. He HAS to fish private lakes.
